As travel services involve multiple third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, cruise operators, transport providers, visa authorities, and local partners, our cancellation and refund policy varies depending on the destination, supplier terms, and the services booked.
Dynamic Cancellation & Refund Policy
TravelOHike follows a dynamic cancellation and refund policy. The applicable cancellation charges and refund terms depend on:
Destination country
Airline, hotel, cruise, or supplier policies
Visa processing status
Type of travel package
Seasonality (Peak/Off-Peak)
Time remaining before departure
For this reason, the exact cancellation and refund policy will be shared separately with each travel quotation or package before booking confirmation.
By confirming your booking and making payment, you acknowledge and accept the cancellation policy provided for your specific package.
Cancellation Request

Refund Processing
Where applicable, eligible refunds will be processed after deducting any applicable cancellation charges, supplier penalties, bank charges, payment gateway fees, currency conversion losses (if any), and non-refundable service charges.
Refunds are generally processed within 7–30 business days after confirmation from all concerned suppliers.
Refund timelines may vary depending on airlines, hotels, embassies, cruise operators, banks, and payment providers.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method wherever possible.
Non-Refundable Services
The following services are generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified in your package confirmation:
Visa application fees
Travel insurance
Flight tickets marked as non-refundable
Hotel bookings with non-refundable rates
Cruise bookings with non-refundable conditions
Processing fees
Service charges
Government taxes and permit fees
Any supplier-imposed non-refundable charges
No-Show Policy
If a traveler fails to appear for the booked services without prior written cancellation, it will be treated as a No Show, and no refund may be applicable.
Force Majeure
TravelOHike shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or itinerary changes arising due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Severe weather conditions
Government restrictions
Political unrest
Pandemics
Airline operational issues
Border closures
Strikes
War or civil disturbances
Refunds in such situations will depend solely on the policies of the respective service providers.
Visa Refusal
Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the respective Embassy or Consulate.
TravelOHike is not responsible for visa refusals, delays, or rejections. Refunds, if any, will be governed by the cancellation terms applicable to your booked services and supplier policies.
Amendments
Any changes requested after booking confirmation, including travel dates, passenger names, hotel changes, or itinerary modifications, are subject to supplier approval, availability, and applicable amendment charges.
